Did a quick ECT near the top of Powderhorn ski patrol. 105cm total, 105-98cm easy fist with about 1/2 new on top. 98-85cm 4f, 85-70cm 1f, 70-40cm 1f (hard), 40-29 1f, 29-26cm found a hard layer (pencil) and below 26cm was an easy fist with mostly what appeared to be depth hoar. Tap test showed ECTN 24 @ 70cm Pulled this layer out and did another tap test at the 70cm level which showed ECTN 29 @ 29cm Water equiv. in the top 5" of snow was .68 (13.6%)
