Snowpack

We skied SW aspect from 11500 to 10500 and found generally weak and semi supportive snow to the ski turn. Sometimes ski on a turn wound gouge to ground. Average HS 40-50cm with deeper spots. Some sluffing in the new snow and possibly into deeper layers, no larger than D1. Found some spotty basal crusts. Surface was low density new snow.

D1 sluffs on SW aspects at approximately 10800
