"Found a massive hard slab D1 in Bridal Veil (realize a D1 should not be massive, but the propagation was impressive). Skier triggered but not caught. Went to check out the crown. Found a pencil to knife hard slab a foot thick above a faceted four finger mid pack. The slab sounded like a drum when I hit it and then . . . a second release happened above me. Had time to ski out. It spidered out with lots of energy. Spooky. Watch out for shallow trigger points of wind loaded hard slabs."
