Weather

5-18" settled, moist snow from weekend. Clouds diminished mid-late morning, allowing long periods of sustained sun. Winds light from NW/ downvalley.

Snowpack

Surface snow moist on sunny aspects, but appeared to stay dry(ish) on shady.

Avalanche

Rollerballs on some east and west facing slopes below about 12000 feet. Most slopes still unmarked by about 3:30 pm. None on slopes tipped slightly N of E or W or shaded just slightly. No rollerballs or slide activity apparent on Independence or Green Mountains.
