Great sledding on a circumnavigation of Mt Granger. South and West slopes starting to fill in. Road and benched terrain has seen blowing snow, with HST exceeding 50cm. Jan 16 crust totally unsupportive, sitting between 0 and 60cm depending on aspect. Caution that the new snow overlies near surface rocks on South aspects, making for ideal A-arm bending conditions! On cross loaded features, and lee near ridgelines there is a building windslab, which is touchy in places.

Avalanche

Crossloaded slope sz 1. Also many loose dry point releases from South aspect rocky slopes.
