Snowpack
Snowpack continues to be thin throughout the Richmond Hill area. Observations primarily isolated to the designated corridor until McArthur Mtn. No observed avalanches looking south from Ashcroft mountain towards Taylor Pass. A test profile at 11520ft and NE aspect (HS85cm) produced ECTP 18 SC 28cm, failing on the depth hoar which occupies over a third of the snowpack. SPT40/100 Arr also on depth hoar. A more well formed slab could be felt underfoot (75cm PenFoot) and was represented by 4F RG in the 60-30cm zone of the snowpack. Recent wind crust (5mm slab) forming on lee slopes near treeline.
