Snowpack

Dug a pit in a windblown bank above the couloir. 10' probe did not hit bottom. Top 3' was wind bonded styrofoam. Did not get any clean shears on compression but was able to pull some out. Skiing the gully there was 4" of slabby corn that sloughed out in chunks. In the top 300' the next layer was dense - did not feel good to let loose. Lower down we had 6" of corn - happy turns.
