30 degrees at 6:15am at St. Vrain Trailhead; warmed through the day; Snowed on the Summit of St. Vrain Mountain at 11:00am.

Snowpack

Exceptionally Stable; snow pack extremely dense; not frozen even on top layers; very stable however from compression of the weight. Rock creek drainage at Noon was melting rapidly; very hard to move and ski in.
