Weather

About 15 cm of new snow from Sunday night's storm. Dust in the snow that seemed as it came early on in the storm.

Snowpack

On the flats behind the hut there is about 50cm of snow on the ground. It was very punchy and unsupportive as I broke trail across the meadow. The wind up there created a denser layer on top. Minor cracking around skis. No shooting cracks. Traveling off track was the occasional trap door. "I'm on top, I'm on top; now I'm not" kind of snow.
