Weather

Clouds cover and winds increased throughout the day. Strong sun was observed in the AM.

Snowpack

Very few signs of insatiability were observed above treeline today. Strong winds and cloud cover kept the snow surface cold. Wind drifted pockets of snow were stubborn and no cracking of collapsing. Widespread surface crusts on slopes that warmed Wednesday. Will be interesting to see how the new snow bonds. At lower elevations the snow was wet and roller balls were observed out of steep rocky terrain.

Avalanche

Wet Loose activity observed out of steep rocky slopes BTL. I skier triggered avalanche was reported.
