Skied supportive open glades on the SSW face of Vermillion Peak. Fresh snow, no signs of slab properties were observed at any of the BTL elevations up to our turn around near 2,250m. Snowed through the day with light to no winds, temperatures consistently around -9C. Excellent skiing up high, but as always of late the trees at the lower elevations make for survival/adventure skiing. Insufficient visibility to see into the alpine, or to other peaks nearby to make any observations of any avalanche activity.
