Snowpack

Eight inches of new snow overnight. Moderate and consistent winds gusting up to 30. Clear and sunny day. Temps warmed to the high 20s and 30s.

Avalanche

Spotted a skier triggered slide on coon hill. Looks as though several parties skied the minor east face without incident and then continued for another run up the ridge to the summit. Couple turns into the se face a slide released. To far away to speak in detail about the size of the slide but it didn't seem as though the crown was very large but it propagated out and ran a considerable distance. Seems as though everyone was fine.
