Snowpack
Silver couloir on Buffalo Mtn. 2 major layers in the pit at the top. One at 30cms one at 90 cms. Neither sheared particularly cleanly. Snow is well bonded (unlike anything I have seen in February before.) When skiing there was a slab of about 10cms that constantly broke off and sloughed in chunks. There was a lot of variance in the snow dependent on how much sun hit it was receiving. We started the descent at midday, the corn at the bottom was sublime. If this goes it is going big. For the time being the well bonded snow is reminiscent of early April. Aspect: N Elevation: Above treeline
