Weather

Pleasant - partly cloudy to occasionally sunny & warm while conducting observations. Cloud cover increased to overcast by mid afternoon. Winds also increased to SW/25+.

Snowpack

This west-facing terrain below TL consists of multiple deep gullies separated by flat ridge features. The Gullies averaged 280-300 cm deep with a range of 250-350 cm. The ridge features (where we dug a pit) were 120-150 cm deep. The pack was stout. The upper half consisted of rounding grains and crust features with perk tubes that stopped at a thin wet layer mid-pack (this may have been a slide-debris boundary). The lower half was moist (Iso) but ice bodies had not reached these levels. See pit.
