Beautiful day in the mountains. Sunny skies, warm temperatures, and light winds.

Snowpack

South facing slopes have melted to bare ground in many places. Significant melt freeze crusts on south aspects. See image of north facing pit near treeline. HS 87 cm. ECTs showing propagation on top of the faceted October snow, NTL. Above treeline mostly wind scoured.
