Weather

NE trees on Mt. Trelease (11600'): Sunny and cold. M winds out of the west. S above treeline. M blowing snow.

Snowpack

NE trees on Mt. Trelease (11600'): about a 10 cm wind crust on top of 60 cm of new snow on loaded slopes. DH was not very widespread. Lots of whumphing and shooting cracks greater than 15ft. CTM RP failing within the new snow and at the ground. High energy in hand shears.

Avalanche

-Lots of natural activity on the NE slopes off of Mt. Trelease. -above treeline (around 12000') HS-N-R2-D2+-I -at treeline (around 11600') HS-N-R2-D2-I
