Snowpack

HS was generally between 40-60cms on north through east aspects. We did not see any evidence of previous significant wind-loading in the specific area we traveled (near and below treeline). The snowpack coverage, although thin, was generally of a consistent depth across the slope. The bottom line is the snowpack is weak but lacks a cohesive slab in areas that have not been wind-loaded. The snowpack in most areas is not at a depth where it has overcome terrain irregularities.
