Weather

Very close to 'Bluebird'. There were a few high clouds to the north-Wyoming border. Quite warm at 13,000 ft.

Snowpack

Variable. In general what we saw was patchy snow cover. Where there was snow on North aspects near treeline it was generally facets/Depth hoar (3-6") with a thin surface crust. Up higher there was a 'dead' slab on facets. The slab would range from 3 to 10" thick. Total snow in some of these areas was up to two feet thick.
