Snowpack

Snow surface was moist on all aspects. A few rollerballs and tiny loose slides were observed coming off of road cuts, but otherwise no signs of instability. Notably, the snow in the study plot had settled 8 inches in 48 hours. The snowpack was supportable in boots, foot pen was only 15 cm. Melting is happening very fast on slopes that were not holding snow before this storm, and they will likely be bare again by Monday.
