At upper elevations cloud cover kept sun at bey. Strong SW wind w/ extreme gusts. Snowfall was light and intermittent until 14:30, when it became steady S1 w/ periods of S2. Around 16:45 heavy snowfall began. Below 10,000ft: Warm temps w/ sun coming through broken clouds until early afternoon. Rain fell below 8,500ft

Dramatic wind effects near and above treeline w/ intense loading and scouring. Notable drifting in open areas below treeline. Snow was thick feeling from wind an sticky from warm temps at mid to lower. Moist snow below 10,500ft.
