CLR for most part of the morning building clouds in PM noticed strong solar in the alpine calm winds. No precip

Snowpack

N slope had lightly textured 3 inch of cold snow on firm sub surface in the alpine BTL - freeze seemed good and solid skinning up. we were down by noon but in the forest the snow was staying surprisingly firm and locked up. traversed left into sunny slopes with more incline at one point and snowpack was isothermal on exposed SE slope BTL. No whoomps no shooting cracks

saw one small point release in alpine on SE slope had some sluffing of the newer snow on steeper N slopes near TL
