Weather

s-1 to s2 all day. winds light.

Snowpack

height of previous (2?) storms snow somewhere in the neighborhood of 80cm. pole probing showed 2 distinct layers, top being very light density, bottom being more dense. no whumpfs no cracks noticed. did not dig any deeper into snowpack than pole probing.

Avalanche

Sluffs in top layer on anything >35* (cut banks on highway). One small ss-n-r1-d1 appearing to only be in upper layer was noticed on a cut bank just above powderhorn. propagated across cut bank maybe 150ft and ran maybe 100ft to road.
