Weather
Very clear and very sunny. Was quite warm in the sun Winds from the due N transporting snow on the higher peaks. Slightly breezy on top of Marble Peak but did not feel faster than 10mph winds
Snowpack
New snow - 2-3 ft of new snow from the previous week in Marble. Somewhat wind affected on top but did not encounter any dense wind slabs in our short tour. Very slight cracking on the snow surface at the top of the bowl. Felt no instabilities while skiing. Dug a quick snow pit 100yds below Marble Peak to look for any obvious layers from the recent snow and did not see any. Pit was approximately 3ft deep and represented new snow from the past week.
Avalanche
Party members reported seeing a slide on a far away southern slope - tighter chute with rock outcropping along it. I did not see it well enough to confidently report details.
