R1 D1 along Highway 40 at Berthoud Pass. Riders triggered just after emerging from trees with the intention of exiting at the road. About 35-40 degree slope angle, higher at convexity. Before descending over steeper slope, heard whumpf and remotely triggered wet slab that slid onto the road. No propagation. 20 ft wide crown that stepped about 12" from surface.
