Another bluebird day! Light winds and mild temps.

Snowpack

Snowcover varied from 10-20cm at valley floor to 100cm in lee features.Steep terrain lee to the wind, couloirs and gully features held the most snow. Average snowdepth of atl 40cms. Surface hoar (0.5-1mm) was present,but rapidly decomposing on sunny slopes. Snowpack structure on east and northeast aspects were similar, with northeast aspects holding more snow.Mid pack slab was comprised of facets 0.5-1mm and 30cm thick. Depth hoar was 2mm 1F and 25cm thick.CT Hard SCD2 within the depth hoar.Facets and depth hoar grains were smaller than those observed on north and northwest slopes. As was the difference in resistance between the slab and the depth hoar.
