Quite wind affected out of the trees. Riding was ok. Hitting sections of firm wind snow with some sections of low density powder. It was definitely better riding in the trees out of the wind.

I'm new to ECT tests and digging pits but I thought it would be handy to share. Extended column test propagated at 13 taps at 127cm. Extended column test propagated at 24taps at 70cm. Some very sugary snow that the column slid on at 70cm. Both failures the column slide off with a small wiggle. Air temp was -3c and windy. The slope angle was 29 degrees. About 15cm of low density snow sitting on top of I believe a wind slab.
