Skied a south facing alpine bowl off the spray today. The snow pack is touchy! We had settlements in a few spots in micro terrain on our uptrack. We avoided skiing the open bowl since we thought it might pop and sure enough we triggered shooting cracks in the bowl from the shelter area we skied. Coverage was excellent up high with over 100cm HS.
