Kananaskis

Stormy day in the Kananaskis today with strong SW ridgetop winds and 10 to 20cm HN (tapering quickly with elevation). Natural wind slab cycle to Size 1.5 was observed and we'd expect the size to be increasing as precip rates increase. Snowing S3 when we left the field at 1400. We have the overhead hazard a wide berth whenever possible.
