Castlegaurd Mtn

Excellent day push on Castleguard mtn. Left the car at Big Bend around 445am. Temp was around -6 when we left. The predicted overnight freeze was spot on, and we had excellent travel. The group of four fully roped from the toe of the Saskatchewan, summited in 7hr. The ski out was as expected with +10 and sunny afternoon temps. Most snow bridges were still intact. Car to car 10hr. We didn't note any major recent avalanches in the area. Would recommend giving it a shot while the snow bridges are in!!
