There is some pretty good skiing to be had through the wet pow. Lots of recent snow. We had moderate stability observations, albeit with an impressive/concerning ECTP25 at 60 and 80cm.

Snowpack

ETCP25 at 60 cm with a crystal clean propagation. A few more taps later, ETCP 28 at 80 cm with another beautifully clean propagation. This one slid the column entirely off. The failure layers were defined by slightly lower density snow, but not obviously faceted to our eyes. 35deg slope N/NE, 20m below an open roll-over. Possibly a wind loaded feature. We only did the one pit. Our tapping force may not have been at proper / full strength. I expect a more consistent tester might find the propagation at fewer taps. Lastly, the major facet band I've been seeing everywhere since February was all the way down to 150 cm at this site. Remote triggered wet sluffing on steep features. No negative signals from skiing the Stadium gullies approx 30 deg, north facing.
