Cloudy day at the Gorge

It was warm and cloudy at the gorge today. Approximately 0* at 15k at 930am and about the same upon return at 2pm. Light to no wind. Zero new snow over night. There is a thin temperature crust on the surface affecting current snow quality. Snow underneath is a little heavy but not too bad. People got after it on the weekend so lots of tracks. No obvious signs of avalanche activity or signs of instability. A quick column test and there appeared to be a layer about 70cm down to look out for.
