Hank in Cabin

Toured up to the Hankin cabin. Wind blowing steady strong northeast. Widespread wind effect in any open terrain at treeline and in the alpine. Freshly formed stiff windslabs cracking and creating impressive whumpfs. Suspect they were collapsing on top of a soft layer of facetted crystals below. Easily triggered a size 1 wind slab 10-20 cm thick on a steep role adjacent to cabin. Fracturing easily but not running far.
