Small River Tete Jaune BC

Snowpack varied from 45cm at 840m to 82 at ~1000m. Surface found in open areas but not widespread.(to size 5mm) A series of varable ice crusts from 20cm to ground. Snowpack still lacks any cohesive properties, no wind noted from observations. Foot pen near ground.

all observations were from valley bottom on road. No signs of slabs. Mostly minor sluffing to mid track in steep alpine avalanche paths
