We travelled up the drainage to the Frequent Flyer slide path. There was widespread, very large, surface hoar. We dug a quick pit to check out the facets, we found the snow depth was 60cm at 1530m with about 10cm of facets on the ground. The ski out is getting pretty thin with lots of exposed rocks.
