Good travel on the lake and through the canyon. A few very small slides running to the skin track which appear to be several days old, no recent activity. Skin track to the glacier is icy, 0cm ski pen off track, several places in the trees where crampons would've been nice. Easy travel though the moraines, good coverage on the glacier, probed 280cm. Slopes leading to the summit are very wind affected, bulletproof crust the entire way. Dropped skis at ridge line and bootpacked to the summit. Several massive cornices on the east side of the ridgeline, several of them are barely hanging on, breaking off from the surrounding rock. Skied with an axe for the upper section, the glacier skied better than expected, and we actually found some good turns in the sheltered gullies skiers right of the moraines. Weird temperatures all day, found ourselves layering up/down every 20 minutes.
