Island Alpine Guides AST Course

Profile at 1500m, SW aspect, open area at tree line, compression test moderate 13, sudden planar, down 80cm on 5mm facets. Also had two large whumpfs at 1300m in an open area that is almost flat with a slight westerly tilt. No natural or human triggered avalanche activity observed with decent visibility of the Mount Washington inbounds terrain and some of the out of bounds terrain on the Northerly aspects.
