Burstall Pall - needs more snow

The Burstall Pass trail has been well set up by both skiers and snowshoers (and one hiker who postholed almost all the way to the pass, punching divots into the uptrack). The trail was passable on skis, but only just. The upper slopes have been windblown with some sugary powder and a little bit of crust. The main concern is that some spots are blown clear and there are still lots of rocks, both poking through and hiding beneath the now surface). It is in fair condition for a ski up, but don't expect great turns on the way down.
