Renshaw adventure

First time in the Renshaw zone, had a plan of trying to make it to spirit lake. Snow conditions changed our Initial plan due to thin coverage, dangerous to pass through alpine zones. We travelled through a good portion of the zone trying to find good snow, we found soft snow in shelters areas in the tree line. We observed a size 1.5 avalanche failing on a steep north east aspect, ran to mid fan. Most other start zones were barely over threshold. Managed to escape the day unscathed!
