Mellow tour to Rummel lake, avoiding avalanche terrain altogether. Dug a test snow pit near treeline on the North aspect of a small ridge at 2265 m elevation. Snow height ~ 1 meter, test results: CTE 5 20 cm sudden planar and CTE 10 50 cm sudden planar. No avalanche observations for the day.
