Nikki's

First tracks down Nikki's today after the most recent snowfall. Riding quality was better than expected but nothing to write home about. Much less snow fell in the Pass than we got in Revelstoke through Monday night and Tuesday. Wind affected in most spots with pockets of unaffected powder and the snowpack is still very thin. Some cracking as we skinned up out of the valley towards Cheops shoulder revealed a 10 to 15cm wind slab on a smooth firm surface, but it did not propagate more than about a meter and hardly moved at all. No activity in Nikki's when we descended.
