April 15 and 16: ~5cm surface melt/freeze crust on sun exposed slopes, whoompfing under foot and ski sinking down to ~10cm in some places. South facing slopes warmed up rapidly in the afternoon and crust soften. Lots of natural pin wheeling in the East bowl area (see picture). West bowl and North facing slopes had ~20cm+ of nice fluffy snow, amazing to ride. Very sunny days with barely any wind at all, <1cm snow fall both evenings. April 17: colder temperatures and more wind than the last 2 days. The surface crust on the sunny slopes was thick and hard. There was wind slab formation in a section of the west bowl. Riding was good on North facing, terrible on South facing.
