Hiked the cutline from the Fraser parking lot, up above treeline to a bench. Snow was good lower down, just above and in the treeline with some exposed creeks. Snow above treeline into Alpine was wind affected in pockets and shallow enough to get a couple rock strikes. Snow seemed stable, only rode south aspects. Dug a pit and observed a crusty icy layer at ground level.
