Skied the ravens after poking up the illy glacier. Some nice stale pow out there. No signs of activity except for cutting some tiny unsupported rolls in sparse trees. Illy glacier lowest probe depth was 60 near the toe. Changed quickly to ~150 2200m and 250-280 @ 2500m. Big holes still very visible. Back onto the ravens upper pitch is brutal. Wind scoured with little snow. Quite Rocky with some fresh on top. The straight forward ravens route is a bit convoluted just because of coverage. Down low coverage is better and got to open it open on some sparsely tree open, Lower angle slopes.

Heavy cloud layer/valley fog nestled in the valley. Felt warm and quite humid down low below the layers. Poked through first layer at 1800m. Became distinctly colder after, breath/moisture freezing. Vis was obscured. 2nd cloud layer at 2300m which popped us through to perfectly clear sky’s. Light wild, no moving snow. Ski pen wasn’t much. 10-15cms approx. denser probable wind pressed snow below. Relatively colder temps in the alpine Made for nice travel. Close to minus 11.
