Wumpfing in open area. Snow was fairly consolidated on top of a hard crust 45cm down and 40cm from the ground. Very sugary underneath the crust. In trees directly beside and below open area there was almost no snow on top of the crust. Experienced more wumpfing as the temp rose around 13:00.
