Group of four. Skied East facing steep trees to Goat Creek off of London Ridge from Hazel Hut. Deep trail breaking, ski pen around 30 cm. Great skiing despite a thin rime crust on the surface. Overcast. S1 on average with periods of S2. Calm to light winds from the West.

One test profile on East aspect at 1960m. HS 215 cm. Incline 30 degrees. Recent rime crust down 3 cm. Suspect Dec 7th rain crust down 110 cm and is about 5 mm thick. CTVH 31 (SC) down 112 cm on facets below the crust. Surprisingly little faceting above the crust. No sign of instabilities while skiing except for minor sluffing. No alpine obs due to poor visibility.
