Weather

Calm with snow picking up around 4 PM. It was snowing about an inch/hr when I left. I'm not sure if this lasted.

Snowpack

Quick rec trip to Mt Arkansas area to look for any instabilities in the upper snowpack. I traveled mostly on north-facing near treeline treeline and did not get in to wind-affected terrain. I dug on a slope right at treeline where the snow depth was 200 cm. No results in an ECT in the upper snowpack. I dug a little lower in elevation and found the snowpack depth to be 140 cm. I dug to the ground and tested basal layers in an ECT. No results on basal layers or any upper layers. Surface crust or crusts very near the surface on all aspects except due north where I traveled. Faceted layers exist in the upper snowpack but are yet to be reactive.
