Snowpack
Below treeline, there was not enough new snow accuulation for a storm slab avalanche problem to exist. Near and above treeline, strong southwest winds drifted new snow into 40-50 centimeter wind slabs on lee aspects. These slabs were easily triggered with skis on test slopes with no consequence. Exteneded column tests produce propogating results at the new storm interface with 4-6 taps on northeast-facing slopes near treeline. No other results could be produced.
