Partly cloudy skies, calm and 16F.

Snowpack

Dug on a southeast facing slope below treeline that is exposed to the wind. HS 155cm. ECTP14 down 30cm's from theh surface. Weak layer was facets below a crust. ECTP14 and CT4 on this weak layer. Slab above was 30cm thick and fist hard. Crust was soft and only 0.5cm thick. Jumped around on several small steep slopes and around rock and nothing moved, no cracking or collapsing observed.

A number of Loose Dry sluffs from steep above treeline slopes N to NE.
