Parkers Ridge

Excellent coverage for this time of year. Excellent skiing in sheltered alpine terrain and open trees, wind affected in exposed ridges and terrain undulations. Poked into steeper alpine terrain from start of the main upper ridge and found good ski quality and nonreactive snowpack. Due to recent warnings of persistent weak layers we did not venture on to slopes over about 30 degrees. Evidence of cornice-fall from upper ridge that did not trigger steep alpine slopes. The November crust is down approximately 30-50 cm.
