Avalanche control on the Simpson avalanche paths - Tuesday, December 16, 2025

Parks Canada is planning avalanche control with explosives on the Simpson avalanche paths in Kootenay National Park on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. This area will be closed to park users all day, and no climbing or skiing is permitted.
